A major conference on Working With Ex-Offenders as volunteers is being organised by the Volunteer Centre South Derbyshire in partnership with colleagues from South Derbyshire CVS, NAVCA, the Probation Service, the YMCA Taskforce and other local, regional and national organisations that have yet to be confirmed.

It will take place on

Local venue to be announced (watch this space!)

Join us for an enjoyable and iformative day to find out what ex-offenders can offer your organisation as volunteers or as part of a community service placement.

Discuss your concerns and worries about involving ex-offenders and find out more about risk assessment, CRB checks and the support available to you to work with ex-offenders.

This conference is open to organisations throughout the East Midlands and therefore will be very popular. Places will be limited only by the capacity of the venue.

We are working to attract funding for this event to minimise the cost to you and your organisation.
