Volunteer Managers’ Forum – Wednesday 18th March 2009

Our next Volunteer Managers’ Forum meeting will take place on Wednesday 18th March 2009.

We had originally planned that this forum would cover “Legal Update and Personal Safety”. However, as we are now running the major Conference on Working With Ex-Offenders exactly one week before this forum meeting, we have now decided to chage the emphasis slightly and to follow-up on some of the issues from our recent excellent session on Attracting and Recruiting Volunteers.

Therefore, this session will now have two themes:

We will be joined by a representative from Derbyshire Police to get us thinking about:

Personal Safety for our Volunteers

And we will discuss

How to keep volunteers enthusiastic and motivated

Please come prepared to share the things that you do to keep your volunteers happy, the ways that you celebrate their achievments and recognise theor contribution to the work of your organisation.

We will also be thinking about:

Volunteers Week 2009
