Volunteer Managers’ Forum

This is an edited re-post of the notification that first went on this blog on 18th February

Our next Volunteer Managers’ Forum meeting will take place on Wednesday 18th March 2009.

We had originally planned that this forum would cover “Legal Update and Personal Safety”. However, as our Conference on Working With Ex-Offenders takes place exactly one week before this forum meeting, we have now decided to change the emphasis slightly and to follow-up on some of the issues from our recent excellent session on Attracting and Recruiting Volunteers.

Therefore, this session will now have these three themes:

Personal Safety for our Volunteers

We will be joined by a representative from Derbyshire Police

How to keep volunteers enthusiastic and motivated

Please come prepared to share the things that you do to keep your volunteers happy, the ways that you celebrate their achievements and recognise their contribution to the work of your organisation.
