If that sounds like a fair swap, you’re in the wrong place, sorry.
Local radio station RAM FM has up to £50,000 to give to community organisations in Derbyshire and parts of East Staffordshire that come up with new volunteering opportunities for young people.
They’ve joined up with v, the youth volunteering charity to fund new projects.
We want to hear from organisations that have innovative projects that will create new volunteering schemes.
If you want to inspire 16 to 25 year olds to volunteer and could do with a grant up to £10,000 then apply below.
What is v?
v It’s the first letter in volunteering. It’s also the name of the independent charity championing youth volunteering in England.
v Exists to inspire a new generation of young volunteers (aged 16-25) in England and enable a lasting change in the quality, quantity and diversity of youth volunteering.
The aim is to create a culture where it is natural for young people to volunteer, and natural for organisations to support them in doing so, because the benefits of volunteering are widely understood and celebrated.
