What is it?

A free workshop session looking at the basics of recruiting, managing, retaining and recognising volunteers within sports organisations. In particular, filling the roles that do not directly relate to the sporting aims, such as committee members, administrators, scorers, etc.

Who should attend?

Anyone involved in a sports club or group who is interested in attracting, motivating and keeping volunteers.

The Trainer

Dave Thomas, Manager of the Volunteer Centre and a former competitive canoeist and volunteer administrator in a canoe club.
