In 2011 The Volunteer Centre South Derbyshire will be working with the British Heart Foundation during their 50th Anniversary year. They are also working hard to get the huge national profile that being the Football League’s official Charity partner would bring. So we’re asking you to support the BHF by voting online.
As their local Fundraising Volunteer Manager, Sophie Jardine, says:
We have a pitch going out on the Football League podcast tomorrow – and footballer Simon Donnelly is doing this on our behalf. He is supporting the BHF in memory of his friend and footballer who died on the pitch aged only 35 from a cardiac arrest.
You are allowed to vote as many times as you like – so if you could please cast your vote for the BHF and ask your family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and even the postman if you like, to vote for us too, that would be truly amazing!

It would be fantastic to have the Football League as our charity partner and we are up against some stiff competition.
Many thanks for your help and support.
Best wishes,
Sophie
